M/W Class: Nice job today in class. We have finally figured the secret to putting together the exposure triangle. How is the the newfound knowledge on exposure going to change how you use photography to create your images?

I pose the question: Have we taken photography to the fast food level. What do we need to do to bring photography back to capturing the moment. Has the access to point and shoot cameras diminished the art?

M/W Class: Good job last night. Aperture is a tough concept, but ill be beneficial as you become more creative. How do you think you will use this new technique?

T/Th class: We have completed the anatomy of the camera and are now ready to use that knowledge. What do you think will be the most used function on your camera and why. What do you think will be the least used. If you are using film, what functions will you look for when it is time to purchase a new camera?

Please remember to practice today shooting images. Note the function you used, and be ready to explain why.

T/Th class: Tonight was successful n so many ways. A more efficient classroom with working technology, and the hands on anatomy of the camera which opened the eyes to many. We were having so much fun, we didn't even realize we we a couple of minutes over. We went over a lot of information. Please take the time to learn the functions of your camera. Learning your camera is like learning a new car. You can't drive without knowing where everything is. To get the feel of your camera try shooting pictures on automatic of something you are interested in.

Tuesday class, well we made it through, even with technology issues. Thanks for your patience and cooperation. Actually sitting kindergarten style made for a intimate session as we were swept away with some amazing images. Remember we will be moving rooms on Thursday to 405. See you there.

Thanks everyone for making our first class upbeat and entertaining. I am looking forward to what is ahead of us.
I hope you enjoyed the video "The Photographers."  Please voice your opinion on what images stuck out for you and why. What made the images in the video successful.
