Just found out today that you can check out a camera at the library on South Campus if you prefer not to purchase one. They have digital and film cameras. They can be checked out overnight.

The Leonardo, which is open on Jan. 16, presents a traveling exhibit, “This Light of Ours: Activist Photographers of the Civil Rights Movement.” The art-and-science center, 209 E. 500 South in Salt Lake City, will offer a limited number of exhibit tours on Friday between 1 and 3 p.m. with civil-rights leader Julian Bond, exhibit curator Matt Herron and exhibit photographer Tamio Wakayama. The tours are open to the public but must be booked in advance. For reservations, e-mail T[email protected] or call 801-531-9800 ext. 201. 

Attend, take a picture of yourself there and write a one page critique/ reflection of the exhibit.
